For 18 years, The Rice Trader has brought both commercial and government traders a weekly summary of rice markets and data analysis. Rice Today, meanwhile, has been presenting developments in rice research, with the intention of improving global rice productivity, for the past seven years.
Jeremy Zwinger, president of TRT said: “IRRI’s research expertise combined with TRT’s extensive knowledge of the trade industry will allow Rice Today to grow well beyond its current reach and develop a much broader appeal.”
TRT will take on responsibility for publishing Rice Today, with the first issue under the new arrangement being the April to June 2009 edition.
